WHYBeanie stands for Where Have You Beanie

It originates from my experience of staying with friends for one week each from March 2010 - March 2011. This project - referred to as project52 - came about because of a variety of events that gives spice to life.

In Feb 2010 I sent a life changing email to a large group of friends.
The 'bottom line' read:
"And if nothing comes up I will be writing a book with the following concept: 'can I find 52 friends that will each put me up for a week'."

This 'bottom line' was an absurd idea that I actually did not 'plan' to do. However, the universe decided to deliver and within 8 minutes I had my first invitation, within the same day the invitations totalled 19.
In the next 10 days the total reached 41 and soon I had 52+ invitations.
I packed up my life and put it into storage, my interesting journey began.

Writing my first book is a serious and exciting challenge. The immediate period after completion of the project was predominantly spent processing the experience. Several creative aspects of my nature were exposed once again.

WHYBeanie: presenting project52

Alongside the book it appeared natural to work on a play and presentation. Many aspects of the story are both audio and visual. Besides that there is also an important tactile aspect to the story.
The prospect of telling my story to an audience using both audio and visual means, ignites the spark in my heart about the magic of project52.

I envisage to collaborate with people from all walks of life and anticipate to start telling my story in the very near future!
